Step-by-Step Guidance

Compass helps you develop key career-building skills, create a strong network of supporters, and get the internships you need to get valuable work experience, earn money or school credit, and complete your resumé. Follow the steps below to set yourself up for career success.

Step 1
EXPLORE YOUR STRENGTHS AND PREFERENCES
Take the DISC behavioral assessment. Shortly after you finish, you’ll get an email with a personalized Career Management Report. This analysis will give you a better understanding of your strengths and your behavior, and how to use this knowledge. After you’ve taken the assessment and reviewed your report, these DISC Training Videos will help you benefit from your new knowledge and perspective.
Step 1
Step 2
DISCOVER AND DEVELOP CORE VALUES
Take the 60-minute, on-demand course “Discovering and Developing Core Values”. This video instruction and the accompanying exercises help you find the principles that guide your decision making. You’ll then learn how to refine and apply them.
